Will my child be safe?

Yes. Our adult volunteers are background checked prior to serving with Legacy Church and we work hard to assure that no volunteer and child are ever left alone together.  In addition, your child will be checked-in at the beginning of the event and released only to properly identified adults. (those that you authorize)

What happens if something were to happen to my child?

Our registration system offers a manner in which we can contact you if there is an incident with your child.  In addition, we have trained nurses who volunteer in our Legacy Kids program for emergencies, should something go wrong.

What will the kids be learning?

Parent Night Out themes will change from evening to evening.

What Will the Kids Be Eating?

We will be serving the kids hotdogs, chips, fruit, cookie and a drink.  If your child has alergies please let us know that with your registration and we will try to accomodate their needs.

My child has special needs,  Can they attend?

Yes, we have caring volunteers who love and adore our specially made children.  If you have specific thoughts or concerns about your child please contact us at 309-508-7170.

Are there any future dates to Parent's Night Out?

Yes, Please check back for future information.

Why are you doing this?

At Legacy Church we have a heart for those in our community and we want to make Sunnyland a better place.  We know that moms and dads sometimes need time away from their kids to be the best parents they can be.  In addition, in order for families to be strong, moms and dads need to “date” each other long after the wedding bells.  This strengthens marriages and families.

I love this idea what if I want to help?

Great, we would love to get to know you.  As we said above all of our adult volunteers are trained and have a background check completed.  If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Paul at paul@legacychurchsunnyland.com.

I love this, but I feel bad for it being free….Can I make a donation?

Well, if you feel bad…don’t.  We want this program to bless you and your family and donations are not necessary.
